He received a paralytic stroke about two weeks ago and his relatives are afraid he may have had a second seizure and be lying in some hospital unknown and unidentified. Reidmiller was 6 ft tall and weights about 200 pounds. He wore a gray suit with a black derby and overcoat.

OBITUARY: The Grand Rapids Press, June 2, 1961, pg. 25: G.E. Reidmiller, 58, Shoe Repairman, Dies - George E. Reidmiller, 58, of 1100 Grandville Ave. SW, a shoe repairman, died Thursday in Sunshine Hospital. Mr. Reidmiller was a native of Louisville and moved to Grand Rapids in 1939. He worked for three years and left to travel for the National Shoe Repair Co. as a vacation relief man untill 1955, when he returned to Grand Rapids to work for the Economy Shoe Repair Shop. He went back on the road for National Shoe repair in 1959 and work with that company until his illness in December 1960. Surviving are his wife Eleanor; three sons, Clifford of flint, James and Daniel at home;five daughters, Sharon, Judy, Abby, Anna and Ruth, all at home; His mother, Mrs. Anna Reidmiller and a brother, Kenneth of Louisville; four sisters, Mrs. Louis Fisher, Mrs. William Pezler and Mrs. Rudolph Keller all of Louisville, and Mrs. Marty Ward of Tamps, Fla. and three grandchildren. Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Joldersma Funeral Home, with the REv. Ralph Unruh of Smith Memorial Congregational Church, officiating. Burial in Washington Park Memorial Gardens.
OBITUARY: The Grand Rapids Press, May 5 1983: Herrera (Reidmiller, Zdroj) - Mrs. Eleanor J. Herrera, aged 59, of 1059 Grandville Ave. SW, passed away Tuesday afternoon at Butterworth Hospital. Surviving are her children, Sharon Boles of Zanesville, OH, Judy Snyder of Weidman, MI, Jim Reidmiller of Wyoming, MI, Abby Byle of Grandville, Ann Reidmiller of Grand Rapids, Ruth Walker of Rockford, Daniel Reidmiller of Grand Rapids, Scott St.Arnold of Weidman, MI and Andree Zdroj of Grand Rapids; 12 grandchildren and one great grandson.; four brothers, George and Robert Baldwin both of Grand Rapids, Bradford Baldwin of Portage, and Daniel Baldwin of Grand Rapids; an aunt Marion Bruno of Grand Rapids; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held Friday morning 11 o;clock at the Van't Hof Chapel, with interment Fairplains Cemetery. Mrs. Herrera reposes at the chapel where friends may meet the family from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm Thursday. Contributions in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.

OBITUARY: The Grand Rapids Press, Baldwin - Mr George L. Baldwin, formerly of Grand Rapdis, died Tuesday, Sept 3, 1991 at Butterworth Hospital. He was preceded in death by his son Terry Baldwin, in 1975. Surviving are his wife of 49 years, Wanda (Morris) Baldwin; his children, Carol (Stewart) and Richard Phillips all of Grand Rapids, Sally and Paul Thomas of Lakeland, FL; seven grandchildren; three brothers, Robert and Peg Baldwin, Daniel and Mary Baldwin, all of Grand Rapids, Bradford and Emily Baldwin of Portage; several nieces, newphews and cousins. Mr. Baldwin was emplyed by the City of Grand Rapids for 32 yrs retiring as Assistant City Assessor. He was past president and life member of the Casino Club, past master of the Grand River Lodge #34 F&AM, Scottish Rite and was past recorder of Saladin Temple, A.A.O.N.M.s., active in Gateway Shrine Club and many other Shrine organizations. Services and Committal will be conducted Friday 1 pm at Reyers North Valley Chapel 2815 Fuller Ave. NE at 3 mile Rd., with the Rev. Martin Crosthwaite officiating. Relatives and friends may meet his family at the chapel 7 to 9 pm Wednesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm.
